The Special Events Division of Syracuse Parks is responsible for all aspects of scheduling, permitting, and coordination of a variety of activities and events that occur throughout the year. In addition, this division also acts as the City’s liaison for community events throughout the city as well as Clinton Square.
If your community group is interested in the Bandwagon Stage or equipment, please put your request in writing, including the date or dates that you're interested in, the location of your event, suggested delivery and pickup times, and a contact name and number. You can send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax it to the Special Events Division at 315.428.8513. A representative from the Special Events Division will get back to you with availability and rental costs.
If you are interested in presenting a community event (which means it is open to the public) in a city park, please put your request in writing, including the date or dates that you're interested in, the park venue you are interested in, and as much information about your proposed event as possible. You can send your request to email@example.com or fax it to the Special Events Division at 315.428.8513. Pending approval, the Special Events Office will respond and set up a meeting to go over your plans in more detail.
If you are a vendor, interested in participating in one or more events at Clinton Square, these events are presented by separate organizations and promoters. You can contact the Special Events office by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by phone (315.473-4330) and obtain a list of dates and contact information for the 2011 season. This list will be available after January.
