The City’s Clean Up ‘Cuse activities will take place on Saturday, April 13th from 9am-1pm*. Volunteers will be provided with a Clean Up ‘Cuse T-shirt, cleanup supplies, and light snacks. Each project location will have one or more team leader to delegate activities, and oversee supply distribution.
You can Clean-up the ‘Cuse all year! The Save the Rain education team is looking for a block or two in a City of Syracuse neighborhood that would like to be part of a “green makeover.” The makeover would include rain gardens and/or rain barrels for interested households with appropriate site conditions.
Save the Rain program staff will offer preliminary assessments to selected neighborhoods as part of the City of Syracuse’s Clean-up ‘Cuse event.
The neighborhoods selected for assessment will be those where many residents are enthusiastic about learning about and caring for rain gardens and rain barrels and can commit to being part of the installation and required long-term care.
