PERMIT APPLICATIONS
If individuals, organizations and agencies wish exclusive use of a park facility, they should obtain a permit. Upon receipt of your permit application and the applicable fees, and pending review, you will receive a permit. We ask that you please secure the location before planning the event. Please note that you should not assume you have use of an area until you have received the permit. Please click here for a complete listing of RULES AND REGULATIONS.
You must have the permit with you on the day of the event. Separate permits will be required for each location that you choose and, there will be an additional $30.00 permit fee per 4 hours for each additional location. For example, if you wish to use the Lilly Pond and the Rose Garden at Thornden Park, two separate permits are required, and there will be two permit fees of $30.00 each per 4 hours.
Those planning block parties will need a street closing application that you can obtain from the City’s Department of Public Works.
