    GOLF LEAGUE OPPORTUNITIES
    Mixed Senior Leagues
Mixed Senior leagues are offered at both Sunnycrest and Burnet Park Golf Course. The leagues are for both men and women over the age of (55) fifty-five. Each league plays on Tuesday mornings from early May until August. Participants are treated to free PGA clinics each month and have exclusive rights to the course. Mixed League members are treated to a full breakfast to help "kick-off" the year, as well as an awards luncheon and an end of the year tournament.

The Mary Anne Kotas Women's League

The Mary Anne Kotas Women's League takes place on Thursday mornings at Sunnycrest beginning in the spring. The "women's only" league was named in honor of the city's past golf director. Several in season events such as closest to the pins, low clubs, etc.. help make this the city's most popular league. Participants are treated to free PGA clinics each month and have exclusive rights to the course. M.A.K Women's League members are treated to a full breakfast to help "kick-off" the year, as well as an awards luncheon and an end of the year tournament.

    Junior Leagues
Junior Leagues are offered at both Sunnycrest and Burnet Park Golf Course beginning in early July. League play is open for boys and girls ages 8-17. The Sunnycrest League takes place on Monday's while the Burnet Park League runs on Wednesday's. Each participant will have a set tee time between 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. and play with the same group each week. League members have exclusive rights to the course and are treated to pizza party and end of the year tournament.

    Twilight Leagues

Take advantage of the city's Twilight Leagues starting in June, available weeknights at each golf course. Round up your friends, co-workers, and business associates and spend a weeknight at one of the courses. Reserve a night and operate your own league or join on of three city run leagues: Wednesday Women's, Thursday Best Ball or Friday Couples. The city's close proximity to restaurants, bars and other downtown locations make them an ideal spot to start an enjoyable night.

Women's league at Burnet Golf Course

The Women's League plays every Wednesday night at Burnet Park Golf Course, from early June until mid-August. Golfers play an adjusted, 7-hole course and are awarded points each round by a modified scoring system (10 points for a birdie, 5 points for a par, 2 points for a bogey, 1 point for a double bogey). Each player has a tee time and plays with the same group each week ( new or single golfers will be paired together!). End of year banquet is usually held the third week of August.

     GOLF CLINIC OPPORTUNITIES

    Senior Golf Clinics
On the first Wednesday of each month the city's more "experienced" golfers are treated to a hands on instructional clinic with members of the C.N.Y.P.G.A. The clinic covers the basic swing technique, putting and short game. The clinics are free but require a $5.00 deposit. Registration is limited to 30 participants and is first come first served. Priority will be given to league and/or course members.

    Youth Golf Clinics

    One-Week Golf Clinic
The primary goal is to introduce the game of golf to those between the ages 6 to 17, while developing lifelong golfers. Participants will work on developing key fundamentals and a solid technique, which will include grip, stance, chipping, putting, and swing. Values, such as honesty, respect, sportsmanship, and confidence will be instilled, which are not only important in the game of golf, but in life as well. Helping junior golfers learn and play golf to the best of their ability, while contributing to their personal growth through positive character values, is our top priority!
