      From the North: Interstate 81 southbound to the exit for S State St towards S Salina/Brighton Ave, exit 17.  Turn right onto S State St. (.2 mi). Turn right onto E Colvin St.  Turn left onto Buckinghamton Ave (1.2 mi).  Slight right onto Meadowbrook Dr.  Barry Park will be on the left. 
      From the South: Interstate 81 northbound to S Salina St/Brighton Ave, exit 17.  At the bottom of the exit turn left.  At S Salina Street turn right.  Turn right onto E Colvin St (.6 mi).  Turn left onto Buckingham Ave.  Slight right onto Meadowbrook Dr (.5 mi).  Barry Park will be on the left.
      From the West: Interstate 690 eastbound to the Teall Ave exit, exit 14.  Turn right onto Teall Ave.  Continue onto Columbus Ave (.2 mi).  Turn left onto Lombard Ave (400 ft).  Take 1st right onto Westcott St.  Proceed for 1.5 miles, Barry Park will be on the left.
      From the East: Interstate 481 southbound towards Syracuse, take exit 2 for Jamesville Rd.  Turn right onto Jamesville Rd.  Take first left onto Nottingham Rd.  Turn left onto Broad St (2.8 mi).  Proceed for .3 mi, Barry Park will be on the left.

    HISTORICAL INFORMATION:
    In 1957, the Common Council designated the park as the William A. Barry Park, named after a former Commissioner of the Parks Department who studied engineering at Syracuse University and became an assistant to Frank M.
