    Mayor Stephanie A. Miner's Inauguration - Jan. 9, 2010

    Nearly 350 people braved the coldest day of the year thus far to attend Mayor Miner's public inaugural ceremony, held outside on Saturday, January 9th in Clinton Square.

    Councilor Bill Ryan was the Master of Ceremonies. City Court Judge Kate Rosenthal administered the oath of office.

    Performers included the Ed Smith Notable Singers, the Living Water Church of God in Christ Choir, the ODESA Ukrainian Dance Ensemble and the Syracuse City Schools Eradication Squad Drill Team.

    Father Neal Quartier from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception delivered the invocation and The Rev. Victor Wilson of Southern Missionary Baptist Church delivered the benediction.

    The Mayor walked to the ceremony from City Hall to the music of the Syracuse Kiltie Pipe Band.
