Help get ready for the NCAA's - Join in a Spring Cleanup this Saturday!

The City of Syracuse is organizing a Spring Cleanup event in University Hill and downtown Syracuse on Saturday, March 20th because we'd like to make sure to put out best foot forward to welcome the thousands of visitors March 25 – 27th when Syracuse hosts the NCAA tournament.

To get ready, we are assembling volunteer crews who will be dispatched throughout the downtown and the Hill to pick up litter and debris that has been hidden by the snow over the winter. Volunteers will be provided with gloves, trash bags, and lunch afterward.

Volunteers are able to start work anytime Saturday between 8:30 am and 11:00 am and can sign up by emailing LRomeo@downtownSyracuse.com  or come to one of the meet-ups below.

Lunch will be available at Varsity Pizza on the Hill (802 S. Crouse Ave.) and J. Ryan’s in downtown (253 E. Water St.) following the cleanup.
